- We’ll also answer any questions you may have about planning, timelines, and feasibility. 


2. Estimate and Proposal

 Following the visit, we’ll provide a detailed written estimate that includes:

 - A breakdown of the work involved

- An estimated timeline

- Any provisional or optional elements 

-We’ll walk you through the quote so everything is clear and transparent from the outset.


 3. Design and Planning (if needed)

 If your project requires architectural drawings or planning permission, we can: 

- Recommend trusted local architects 

- Work alongside your chosen designer, and building control officers. We'll ensure that your project progresses in accordance with all the relevant building regulations.


 4. Pre-Construction Preparation 

Once plans are approved, we’ll: 

- Finalise the scope of work with you 

- Prepare a project plan with key dates and milestones 

- Draw up a payment schedule with details of agreed staged payments 

- Draw up a written contract incorporating the above for signature before work commences

- Handle all necessary site preparations

- We’ll ensure everyone involved is aligned before we begin work. 


5. Construction Begins 

Our experienced team gets to work, managing all trades and phases of the build. During construction, we:

- Maintain a clean and organised site 

- Provide regular updates on progress 

- Are available to answer any queries you have 

- We work hard to minimise disruption and treat your home with respect.


 6. Changes to the Scope of Works

 Once the project is underway, clients sometimes decide that they would like additional work or upgrades outside of the original scope of works. Where this can be accommodated we'll:      

- Advise on the impact of these on timescales and costs

- Issue a written estimate for the requested works  

- Issue an amended payment schedule or project plan if needed 

- We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate changing requirements as the project progresses     


7. Finishing Touches

As we approach completion, we focus on:

- Final fixtures, finishes and detailing

- Interior touches such as painting, flooring and joinery 

- External work like patios, driveways or landscaping if included


8. Snagging and Sign-Off 

We carry out a thorough inspection of the work with you to identify any small issues (known as "snags"). We’ll: 

- Fix anything that needs attention 

- Ensure everything is finished to a high standard

- Only sign off when you're completely satisfied 


9. Aftercare and Ongoing Support
