PROTECTING YOUR PROPERTY:

Suitable coverings will be used to ensure that your driveway is not damaged by skips or deliveries of building materials.

Depending on weather, access outside your property can become muddy when building works are underway. To reduce the likelihood of mud and dirt being walked into your home we board over any muddy areas and also protect carpets and flooring with dust sheets.


PEACE OF MIND:

Your agreement with us will be in the from a written contract, clearly indicating the scope of the work, likely timescales and schedule of payments.

We liaise regularly with appropriate building control authority as the project progresses to ensure that the all building control requirements for the project are met. Full contractors liability insurance is in place to cover our works.

We can provide you with references from other clients for your peace of mind.

PET-FRIENDLY APPROACH:

As pet owners ourselves, we recognize that building can be stressful for pets.  Your pets' safety and comfort is always considered when we are working inside a household with pets. From ensuring that pets do not escape through open doors, to providing make-shift cat flaps during kitchen refurbishment, we will discuss and agree with you what can be done to ensure that your pets are well cared for whilst our team is working in your house.


CONTINUITY:

Every effort will be made to ensure that you an continue to live and us the facilities in your home throughout the building project.  Although each project is different it is usually possible to ensure that you can continue to have access to the bathroom and kitchen facilities even during a bathroom or kitchen re-fit .  This will be discussed with you prior to commencement of building work.

We are extremely pleased with the results of Terry and his team and have enjoyed using our new living space over the past 6 months. The ground floor rooms were reconfigured and a large kitchen/orangerie was added. Whilst fairly major demolition and construction work was being carried out, they never lost sight of the fact that it was still our home and that we were living in it. From using extractor fans to keep the dust to a minimum, constructing a temporary kitchen, ensuring that our domestic services were functional for as long as possible, and making sure that all was tidy at the end of each day, Terry’s team made the turmoil of the building work very manageable. As with all major projects, things will go wrong with suppliers, sub-contractors, materials, etc. This is where Terry’s skills as a project manager showed through. The finished product has transformed our house and we couldn’t have asked for a better result.

We worked with Terry for nearly a year, from initial Planning stage right through to completion, on our build. The project consisted of demolition, double height extension, new bathrooms, kitchen and some renovation. We cannot praise Terry and his team highly enough and are absolutely delighted with our home. It was the little things that made a big difference; no swearing, inappropriate loud music or cigarette ends lying around; the sensitive way they dealt with neighbours; boarding the drive before the skips and deliveries arrived; the labourer who hosed down our path and tidied up every day (even hoovering!).
